Key Responsibilities:
Client Management:
• Lead consultations with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the design process.
• Provide expert guidance and advice on design options, materials, and cost implications.
• Manage client expectations and ensure clear communication at all stages of the project.
Design Development:
• Create innovative and functional design concepts that align with client requirements and industry trends.
• Prepare detailed drawings, 3D models, and presentations using design software.
• Select and specify materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other specialists to ensure design feasibility.
Project Management:
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery and quality of work.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Resolve any design or construction issues that arise during the project.
Team Leadership:
• Mentor and guide junior designers and support staff.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and techniques, sharing knowledge with the team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or related field.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in residential interior design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of residential projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and others.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and materiality.
