Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced and talented Senior Interior Designer with over 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive design knowledge, and the ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion. This role involves overseeing design projects, mentoring junior designers, and ensuring the highest standards of design excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership: Lead and develop design concepts for high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Project Management: Oversee all phases of the design process, from initial concept development to project completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and presenting design proposals and solutions. Team Collaboration: Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative and creative team environment. Material and Product Selection: Source and select materials, finishes, furnishings, and accessories, ensuring they meet design and budget requirements. Construction Coordination: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the accurate implementation of design plans. Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure quality control. Documentation: Prepare detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, schedules Trend Analysis: Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies, and incorporate them into projects.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Software Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp and Microsoft Office. Creative Vision: Strong design sense, creativity, and ability to think outside the box. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of designers. Project Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Problem Solving: Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
Portfolio: A diverse and comprehensive portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects. Certification: Additional certifications in interior design or related courses. Expertise: Familiarity with local design trends, materials, and suppliers
