Summary
The Sr. Internal Communications Analyst plays a strategic role in shaping and delivering clear, engaging, and timely communications that inform, connect, and inspire employees across FM. The ideal candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals, enhance employee engagement, and optimize internal communication channels and have experience in managing communication campaigns, supporting leadership messaging, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver expected results.
This position requires a strong understanding of employee communications best practices and the ability to craft clear, compelling messages for a variety of audiences. A critical aspect of this role is understanding how to communicate effectively with a high-performing, dynamic global workforce, ensuring messages resonate across diverse cultures and geographies.
Schedule & Location
This position is an exempt, full-time office-based position in Johnston, RI.
Develop and implement internal communication strategies to support enterprise initiatives, cultural programs, and leadership priorities.
Align messaging with FM’s core values and business objectives.
Draft, edit, and proofread high-impact content for intranet, newsletters, leadership messages, internal campaigns, and all-employee events.
In partnership with multimedia team, create assets (videos, infographics, presentations) to drive, support or reinforce employee engagement strategy.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to support cascading messages across departments for consistency.
Monitor and analyze metrics (analytics tools, employee input and surveys) and provide actionable data-driven insights to improve communication effectiveness across all FM’s internal communication platforms.
Partner with HR and business units to promote engagement programs and recognition initiatives.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
Highly Preferred Education
Masters Degree in Communications.
Required Work Experience
3-5 years of professional work experience in internal or employee communications, preferably in a global organization.
Required Skills
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in digital communication tools, content management systems, and analytics platforms.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate across functions.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

The hiring range for this position is $80,560-$115,800 annually. The final salary offer will vary based on individual education, skills, and experience.
