Important responsibilities in this role will include :
Senior Analyst will join the investment banking team at Evalueserve, supporting bankers in several critical research areas such as follows :
• Working on comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, industry research, company / M&A screening, newsletter preparation and creating financial models
• Prepare pitch books, industry overview, detailed company profiles, management biographies, brokers’ outlook, share price performance, evolution of industry / peer valuation multiples, possible buyer / seller opportunities
• Responsibilities includes training and guiding junior and new analysts, maintaining efficiency, working independently on complex projects, delivering error free projects and client communications
• Analysing business plans and valuation of companies using a variety of methodologies and help in due diligence coordination
• Allocating projects to team members depending on their industry expertise and skills, resolving their project related queries and performing quality check on financial models and presentations
• Creating and maintaining databases and conducting research on sector / companies
• Conduct on-the-job and off-the-job training sessions of new joiners and team members
Skills we’re looking for :
• Postgraduate (PGDM / MBA)
• Relevant experience of 3-6 Years
• Strong Accounting and financial skills
• Experience in Industrials and Infrastructure sector
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner
• Ability to practice attentive and active listening skills
• Knowledge of database tools FactSet, Thomson one, Capital IQ, Factiva, and Bloomberg
• Ability to identify proactive ways to contribute to firm’s goals & mission
• Challenging current thinking by implementing new ways of working
