A subsidiary of VGL, Shop LC was established in Austin, TX in 2007 and is now broadcasting live to 75-million homes in US. Our growing eCom presence is through our website https://www.shoplc.com/. Shop LC ships approx. 25,000 products to its US customers every day. Shop LC, US employs approx. 550 people in operations such as warehousing, customer service, merchandising, marketing, eCom, Marketplaces, Live Studio. Its management resides at the US headquarters in Austin, with extended support from the Global Headquarters in India. United States in our largest market and delivers the highest revenue share. The contribution of this region to our consolidated revenue stands at 68%.

A subsidiary of VGL, TJC was established in London, UK in 2006 and now broadcasts live to 25 million homes in UK as well as has an eCom presence through website https://www.tjc.co.uk/ . TJC ships approx. 12000 products to its UK customers every day. TJC employs approx. 220 people in London in various divisions with extended teams in India.

Job Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain our iOS mobile application with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality features and functionalities.
• Integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms into the app to enhance user engagement, provide personalized recommendations, and optimize conversion rates.
• Implement advanced AI capabilities such as natural language processing, image recognition, and predictive analytics to improve search functionality, product recommendations, and user interactions.
• Optimize app performance and responsiveness through continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization techniques.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to the overall improvement of development processes and standards.
• Able to work in Agile way of working, and participate in all scrum ceremonies including estimation, demo and retrospection.
• Ability to solve production issues on priorities to support business operation as and when required.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting sprint deadlines with a focus on quality deliverables, demonstrating a commitment to timely project completion.
• Product Development: Work within and across teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across Mobile platforms and technologies.
• Code Quality: Implement best Architecture patterns like MVC, MVVM, VIPER and Clean Architecture.
• Collaboration: Work with product owners, BA, PM to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to propose innovative solutions that enhance the user experience.
• Testing and Debugging: Writing Unit testing for mobile apps and debugging of applications to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design documents, architecture diagrams, and coding standards.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in iOS app development.
• Expert-level proficiency in Swift, including advanced features like protocols, extensions, generics, and concurrency using dev tool like Xcode.
• Expertise in developing and executing comprehensive unit testing strategies to ensure the reliability, stability, and maintainability of iOS applications.
• Experience in leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to enhance the functionality, usability, and performance of mobile applications, with a focus on optimizing user experience and driving business objectives
• Deep understanding and proficiency in UI/UX technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a demonstrated ability to design and implement intuitive, visually appealing user interfaces that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
• Extensive experience with UIKit, custom UI components, Auto Layout, and Storyboards.
• Strong command of iOS design patterns and ability to apply them effectively in large-scale, modular app architecture.
• Proven experience as a Senior iOS Developer with a strong portfolio of iOS apps developed and deployed to the App Store.
• Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages, with a deep understanding of iOS SDK, UIKit, and Core Data.
• Expertise in Version Control tools like Github ,Bit Bucket and Gitlab.
• Solid understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts, with hands-on experience in implementing AI solutions in mobile applications.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries such as Core ML, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party SDK integrations.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools like Jenkins, FastLane, or CircleCI.
• Experience with Google analytics, Firebase, and other logging tools like Splunk , kibana , etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze complex issues, and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Prior experience in ecommerce or retail industry is a preferred.
