The Team: The team is responsible for building a platform that provides information, benchmark prices, analytics and Essential Intelligence for the energy and commodities market products for S&P Global Commodity Insights.

Responsibilities
• Work as a senior IOS Mobile developer with strong hands-on mobile apps & Web apps development experience for entire software development lifecycle
• You will design and execute user-facing features for the native app on IOS devices by leveraging mobile operating system frameworks for multi-threading, persisting data, and managing user experience and graphics across multiple screen sizes
• Work collaboratively with product owners, technology partners to understand and clarify requirements
• Design and develop highly scalable Native mobile applications
• You will provide technical leadership, driving and performing best engineering practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wise critical programs
• You will identify, leverage, and successfully evangelize opportunities to improve engineering productivity
• Explore and prototype new technologies to incorporate into the development effort

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's /Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in software engineering building Mobile applications
• Must have 4+ years of hands-on experience in IOS Native application development using Swift, Objective C and React Native for iPhone, iPad, and Apple watch…etc.
• Minimum of 4 years of continuous and extensive hands-on experience with expert level use of the following web technologies: Swift, Objective C, React Native & RESTful API
• Must possess a minimum 4 years of experience in creating, optimizing, integrating API calls and Familiarity with API design and client/server communication principles
• Able to demonstrate strong Object-oriented programming skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like SAFe, Agile, Test- driven development
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
• Able to work well individually and with a team. Good work ethic, self-starter, and results oriented
• Excellent communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies
• Android Native application development using Kotlin or Java
• Experience with Firebase, setting up Mobile CI/CD & applying/enforcing security standards
• Experience in API development and using Micro services architecture with technologies like .NET Core, C#, Restful API, PostgreSQL, SQL Server & No-SQL databases

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $+1,500 to $1+0,100. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
