PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: As a Senior IT Software Quality Assurance Specialist, you will develop, maintain, test, and debug software tests to ensure they meet defined requirements. Your role includes formulating and defining system scope and objectives and preparing detailed specifications for testing applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
• Gain familiarity with various aspects of the application, including reports, parameters, claims management, and interfaces with carriers and business partners.
• Analyze user needs and assist in designing tests to confirm that user requirements are met.
• Create and update software test scripts and test plans to ensure systems align with specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct testing for assigned projects and support the programming team in their testing efforts.
• Document new or existing software features clearly and accurately.
• Investigate support staff escalations, making necessary adjustments to data and software tests.
• Contribute to the professional development of fellow quality assurance analysts.
• Adhere to established standards and guidelines for test design and development.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest quality assurance tools and technological advancements.
• Provide exceptional service to our clients consistently.
QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science is preferred. You should have at least six (6) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including three (3) years in testing or business analysis. Familiarity with user requirements interpretation and business application test development is highly valued.
