Position Purpose
Key Engine is an API based application used for determining various eligibility flags for trade reporting to regulators and whether trade is eligible to be traded or not under different regulatory regimes.
Java developer is required in team to help on speeding up the critical work identified for Regulatory eligibility determination.
Require senior person with strong technical skills who can assist in leveraging the current platform to support huge volumes of request, ensure stability and resilient.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
• Development and enhancements for application platform.
• Contribute to Data modelling to cover long term application development and maintenance objectives
• Contribute to application design and development.
• Liaise with the London based IT developers in a “one team” approach in implementing requirements from specifications
• Undertake peer review and testing activities of implemented code as directed
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the new platform.
• Clarify precisely what actions the program is intended to perform when there is ambiguity
• Devise solutions to problems, evaluate and provide options to technical lead
• Work as a team to design and develop parts of the system
• Improve existing software implementations by enhancing features, fixing bugs
• Be aware of the business domain the software is being created for
• Follow technical architecture standards where applicable
• Work closely with testers and business analysts to ensure software functions as expected
• Be involved in support if a major problem in production arises
• Participate in out-of-hours / daytime support as required
• Escalate risks / issues to IT management
Contributing Responsibilities
• L3 Technical Support on production and non-production environments.
• Participation on release activities.

• JAVA 8.0 / 11 , Backend service development, Java Spring framework.
• REST API framework.
• Oracle Coherence Cache

• DEVOPS tools such as Jenkins etc.,
