Workforce Connect Portfolio is a collection of robust communications solutions providing VoIP telephony, Push-to-Talk, Radio Gateway, Video, Messaging on Zebra Mobile Computing Platforms, PC Desktop, and consumer oriented mobile devices. Customer interest in both telephony and Push-to-Talk has been growing since the first release of Zebra telephony client and excited building with increasing interest in Zebra Push-to-talk offering. The increase in customer base and growing push-to-talk opportunities places Zebra Workforce Connect Engineering team in high demand for additional features/capabilities allowing additional product growth. Workforce Connect Push-to-talk is gaining interest worldwide faster than we expected and requests for trial/pilot/roll-out increasing. This opening facilitates the current engineering organizations capabilities to provide additional features/functions, improve operations and support, leading to improved revenue opportunities.
The position request hires a qualified engineer to provide architectural strategy, development and implementation of Workforce Connect Product Portfolio operational enhancements leading to increased efficiency of system operations, monitoring and alignment to business process flow for management of end-customers licensing Zebra’s Workforce Connect Products.
Responsibilities
Overall responsibilities required of qualified candidates include definition of architectural strategy, design, develop and implement Workforce Connect portfolio operational products following Agile/SCRUM development/deployment processes. Specifically the role will focus on increasing operational system efficiency including System Design in Cloud/On-premise using Docker style containers, system operations, KPI monitoring and Business intelligence reporting with respect to the portfolio of Workforce Connect products. Qualified candidate will work on a multi-disciplined team interfacing with Product Management, Support, architecture, software, systems, and solutions engineers/architects and serve as the lead engineer for the operational considerations. This position will require ability provide analysis of competitive solutions, Intellectual property development.

• Engineering degree with at experience from 6-+ years with the below mentioned work experience
• Good Object Oriented and functional programming experience
• Experience on Springboot, Hibernabte, NodeJS, RDBMS, NoSQL, REST, Java script.
• Understanding of WebRTC, SIP, Voice stack
• REST, Java script, CSS, Shell Scripting.
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture design
• Development experience on server communications systems
• Understanding of distributed, HA, and scaling On-premise/Cloud computing environments include container (e.g., Docker, AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Experience with various Linux/Windows Operating systems
• Understanding of BI tools like Pentaho Tableau, etc.
• Troubleshooting / problem solving skills.
• 3 rd Party solutions integration using standard and proprietary protocols
