We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems in a hybrid environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend systems in a hybrid environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define system architecture, and ensure smooth integration between frontend and backend components.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Java 8 and other relevant technologies.
Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and web services using Spring Boot.
Develop and deploy microservices using containerization technologies like
Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Work with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, or Elasticsearch to store and retrieve data efficiently.
Integrate messaging systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, to enable event- driven architectures and real-time data processing.
Ensure system reliability, availability, and scalability through effective performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Collaborate with DevOps engineers to implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.
Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, identify and implement solutions to improve system performance and stability.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in backend development, and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience as a Backend Developer, preferably in a senior or lead role.
Strong proficiency in Java 8 and its ecosystem, including Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and web services.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Proficiency in working with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Elasticsearch.
Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Strong knowledge of software development best practices, design patterns, and clean code principles. Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience with hybrid mode (combining on-site and remote work) is preferred but not required.
