Senior Java Developer
Senior Associate/ Associate Manager

Senior Java Developer
As a Senior Java Developer, the candidate will be developing complex systems and applications for the largest hedge fund administrator in the country. You will get exposure and knowledge on the different aspects of financial processes including investor accounting, trade processing and more. The ideal candidate is a team player but can also work independently in a fast based environment on all stages of the development life cycle, with little guidance and is organized, detailed oriented and pro-active.
DO:
Responsibilities Include:
• Design and develop web based applications - server side, middle layer and client side using Java, SQL and Unix
• Gather business requirements and coordinate development with other team members globally
• Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and work independently
• Provides technical support to business users on the team’s development initiatives and business application
Skills and Knowledge Desired:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Strong hands of experience in application development in a global environment
• Experience with Java 8 or later, MS SQL Server 2016 or later, Linux RedHat /Unix Solaris
• Good knowledge of the full project development life cycle process
• Strong analytical skills required
• Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure clarity of communication to users and colleagues
Other Skills And Abilities
• Experience with other technologies such Unix Shell scripting, Perl, Web Services, Multi-threading, SOAP, .Net, Sybase, Apache, Tomcat, Hibernate, Windows scripting, Git, Ant, Eclipse, SWIFT, XML, JSON, MQ, JQ-GRID, Apache POI, SSL, PGP is a plus
• Prioritize and structure own workload according to delivery requirements as set by the manager
• A fast learner with the ability to understand, retain and apply new information quickly and think outside of the box
• Experience working in the financial domain preferred, specifically asset management, hedge funds or mutual funds is a plus
• Write/Understand Database Procedures
• Bug free Code and Code in accordance with Java Standards.
