Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Backend Engineering team as a Software Development Specialist. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java 11+ and Spring framework, with a strong understanding of microservices architecture and DevOps tools.
As a Software Development Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, deliver and support backend solutions using micro-services architecture. You will work closely with the Product Owner and Area Architect to clarify business needs and technical requirements, and define how to support them in the best way.
• You will participate in solution investigation, estimations, planning, and alignment with other teams.
• You will design, implement, deliver and support backend solutions (restful web services) using micro-services architecture.
• You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, development, testing and deployment.
• You will deploy applications on the cloud using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS and Terraform.
• You will work closely with the team in an agile and collaborative environment, participating in code reviews, pair programming, knowledge sharing, and incident coordination.
Key Requirements
• A minimum of 6 years of experience with Java 11+ and Spring framework.
• A strong understanding of microservices architecture and DevOps tools.
• Experience working within Agile practices and knowledge of Agile values & principles.
• Experience working with Microservices.
• Eagerness to expand skill set and collaborate with frontend teams.
• Good English verbal and written communication skills.
