Role
As a Software Engineer, you will be involved in all stages of our SDLC from day one; this includes feature planning, implementation, testing, documentation writing, releases, and product support. You will develop and test code for system changes or new modules within Bottomline's core technology and architecture according to internal and regulatory specifications and standards. You will also work with other engineers to maintain our platform and ensure a smooth CI/CD pipeline is in place. You will be working in a team maintaining various solutions of on SaaS Platform. This is a unique role offering the opportunity to work in a cross functional, international team.

• Proactively and consistently raises and reports on design deficiencies and product/operational/project risks
• Asks for Help as appropriate and learns from it. Shares learnings with peers
• Relates effectively to people across all levels, including leaders, peers, and other team members
About you?
• Inquisitive and eager to learn
• Experience with Core Java and Spring Boot/Spring DI
• RDBMS (e.g. Oracle/MSSQL/PostgreSQL)
• Unit testing and mocking tools
• Swagger/OpenApi

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to breakdown complex processes and algorithms and explain them to non-technical members of the team
• Supports data gathering and assimilation to formulate a hypothesis, and conducts an objective root cause analysis using a structured problem-solving approach
