The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems using Java and related technologies. The role requires a deep understanding of microservices architecture, distributed computing, and big data processing using Spark.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop complex software systems using Java and related technologies
• Develop and implement microservices architecture-based solutions
• Develop distributed computing solutions using Spark
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement high-quality software solutions
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in software engineering
• Mentor junior team members and lead technical projects as required
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development using Java and related technologies
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful web services
• Experience with Spark and distributed computing
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
