We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with 8 years of experience to join our team.
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our company's Java-based applications.
You will work closely with our team of developers and project managers/business teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet our internal clients' needs.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Java, including its core libraries and popular frameworks, and experience working in an Agile development environment and excellent communication skill.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop high-quality Java-based software applications, using modern software engineering techniques and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and implement new features and enhancements to existing applications.
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on the team.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the Java development community and apply them to our software development practices where appropriate.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Java development, including experience with Java 8 and higher.
• Proficiency in popular Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Struts.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Understanding of Angular applications.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
