Senior Java Developer
Required Skills:
• Need 5+ years of experience in Java
• Must have strong knowledge on JPA, JUnit, GitLab,Spring Boot and SQL(MySQL,T SQL and MSSQL Server)
• Client: Mercuria end client
• Work location: Bangalore
• Mode of work: Initial 6 months WFH after that relocate to Bangalore
Job Description:
- Commodity exposure is a nice to have
- Key responsibility is mainly hands on dev, with exposure to business teams
- No need for innovation/representation
Technical expertise
- 5+ years of backend Java 8+ dev. Lambdas, API dev, JPA, JUnit. Other dev languages are not required.
- Experience with SpringBoot with good understanding of underlying concepts
- Experience working within an Agile team with a Sprint based organization with Jira.
- Experience working with CI/CD practices, ideally with GitLab.
- Experience working with RDBMS (ideally MS SQL Server) to read/write plain SQL code. Modeling/stored procs (TSQL) are nice to have
- Understanding of software quality principles. Ability to conduct/participate in code reviews. Sonar nice to have
- DevOps platform (nice to have): docker, argo CD, Grafana
- React exposure is nice to have
