JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview
We are looking for strong candidates to help develop the platform as a reliable, scalable, modern architecture that supports long-term growth and reduces operational and support costs.
The candidate will engage with product management, and provide technical leadership to a team of engineers for the implementation and roll-out of various modules.
The ideal person for this role will be passionate about shipping elegant, innovative, and scalable products.
This position demands strong technical leadership, the ability to collaborate with globally distributed product teams, and the guts and vision to produce something really extraordinary.
Responsibilities
· Analyze test requirements/designs and produces reusable test scripts and procedures to test new and amended software
· Verify test script against business requirements using the functional specification and technical documents provided by the design
team
· Understand and interpret functional and non-functional requirements as needed to develop test cases
· Actively work to identify, communicate, mitigate and resolve testing issues and risks
· Manage test scripts, test cases, and test results using standard testing tools such as Jira or Rally
Participate in the test plan, test case, and test results review sessions and make modifications if necessary.
· Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality is not broken and recommends corrective action
EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills
· 5+yrs hands-on product development experience, preferably with SaaS products.
· Preferred Full Stack experience across - OpenStack technologies: Java/ Golang, RESTful services, Microservices, CICD, Unit Testing, AWS
· Experience with mobile and Responsive Web Design (RWD)
· Experience with using Design Patterns
· Experience with Web Services, Web API, REST
· Experience with Agile methodology and Test-Driven Development
· Experience making technical decisions, and long enough tenure to have observed the outcome of the decision.
· Familiarity with Agile concepts, and experience practicing SCRUM.
· Experience working with remote teams.
· Superior verbal and written communication.
Education:- Any Engineering Graduate/ MCA/MSC(IT)
