Senior Jewellery Designer – High Jewellery

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly talented Senior Jewellery Designer with experience in luxury diamond brands such as Cartier, Graff, or other prestigious high jewellery houses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing high jewellery pieces, demonstrating exceptional creativity, technical knowledge, and an understanding of the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
• Create extraordinary high jewellery designs, ensuring a balance of innovation, luxury, and wearability.
• Develop hand-drawn sketches and detailed design concepts, maintaining the elegance and sophistication associated with the finest high jewellery brands.
• Work closely with master artisans, gemmologists, and production teams to bring intricate and innovative designs to life.
• Research global luxury jewellery trends and historical design influences to inspire new collections.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of diamond and gemstone qualities, setting techniques, and metalwork, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship.
• Collaborate with the marketing and branding teams to ensure designs align with Diamond2’s luxury identity.
• Oversee prototype development and final production, ensuring quality control and adherence to the brand’s high standards.
• Work directly with private clients on bespoke commissions, translating their vision into one-of-a-kind masterpieces.
• Keep up to date with the latest advancements in high jewellery techniques and craftsmanship.
Required Skills & Experience
• 7+ years of experience in high jewellery design, with a strong portfolio showcasing luxury diamond pieces.
• Outstanding hand-sketching and artistic abilities to communicate complex jewellery concepts.
• In-depth knowledge of lab-grown diamonds and their unique characteristics.
• Expertise in gemstone selection, setting techniques, and fine jewellery craftsmanship.
• Experience working with high-value diamonds and gemstones in complex, bespoke jewellery designs.
• Strong awareness of haute joaillerie standards and techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure in a luxury-driven, high-expectation environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience liaising with artisans, suppliers, and clients.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience working with prestigious jewellery maisons (Cartier, Graff, Van Cleef & Arpels, Harry Winston, etc.).
• International experience in luxury jewellery markets.
• Strong understanding of high jewellery client expectations, bespoke commissions, and ultra-luxury branding.
