Job Description
The Job will involve creating innovative and functional landscape designs for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and public spaces. Candidate should have understanding of horticultural principles, design aesthetics, and construction techniques. The ideal candidate is a creative and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Conceptualization and Design: Develop creative and innovative landscape design concepts. Prepare site plans, planting plans, grading plans, and other necessary design documents. Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather data. Develop and present design proposals to clients. Incorporate sustainable design principles, such as water conservation and low-maintenance plantings. Project Management: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project timelines and budgets are met. Prepare construction documents and specifications. Conduct site inspections during construction to ensure adherence to design plans. Provide support to construction crews as needed. Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their concerns and questions. Present design options and obtain client approval. Research and Development: Stay current on industry trends, new plant materials, and sustainable design practices. Conduct research on relevant topics, such as site analysis, plant selection, and construction methods. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field. 2 years of professional experience in landscape design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other relevant design software. Strong understanding of horticultural principles, plant selection, and site analysis. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
