Job Description
Some of the key responsibilities will include :
- Develop and update Credit policies and procedures, considering current regulatory expectations and Firm practices
- Initiate and execute various projects and efficiency initiatives related to Credit policy, governance, and regulatory guidance
- Analyze key upcoming regulatory guidance to assess level of compliance with current practice
- Assist in the preparation of senior management reports on policies/procedures, regulatory exams, internal audits, and credit reviews
- Manage local team members of Analysts/Associates engaged in the above activities
To be eligible for this role you will require :
- Qualified degree in economics, accounting, finance, or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- General technology skills (e.g., SharePoint sites, databases, process flows, Microsoft Access, Visio, basic knowledge of computer languages)
- Experience interacting with large bank/securities regulators (e.g., FRB, OCC, SEC, PRA, FINRA, CFTC)
- The ability to lead and develop a team as well as work effectively with senior management levels.
