Senior Lead Designer

As a Sr. Lead Designer, you will: Serve as mentor, and leader for a growing team of designers; present a solid example as to leadership and performance within the company.Grow and lead the Design team for Sumo India Studios.Maintain and build close relationships with the Sumo Digital project teams Design counterparts across the global Sumo Digital studios and multiple projects. Travel to do this also encouraged.Actively work on specific Design related project tasks as per required ensuring a managed work life balance.Recognize the individual abilities of each member of your team, helping tailor their work and project assignments to get the best out of them and motivate the team to achieve high-quality work.Regularly update the directors and stakeholders.We need you to have Extensive game and level design experience across several projects and platforms.At least 2 years of prior experience in handling a team of designers.A proactive and iterative attitude towards world building and game design.Design experience on several titles, including at least 2 AAA titles on consoles or PC.Knowledge of Unreal Engine.Experience managing a team of 5 or more people.Experienced in producing clear and concise documentation, analyzing problems, and finding the most efficient and effective solutions.A proven ability to breakdown high-level design goals into individual components.A strong communicator able to work well as part of a team giving and receiving constructive criticism appropriately, remaining positive whilst under pressure.A passion for and knowledge of gaming across a wide variety of genres and formats
