As a Senior Developer for Application Modernization, you will play a key role in transforming.
our legacy applications. into modern, scalable, and efficient systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to redesign, re-architect, and migrate applications to modern platforms.
This role requires a deep understanding of software engineering principles, cloud technologies, and best practices in application modernization.
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and define the modernization strategy for legacy applications.
Lead the design and implementation of modern software solutions, including re-architecting monolithic applications into microservices or serverless architectures.
Migrate legacy applications to cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) practices.
Identify and resolve technical challenges related to performance, security, and scalability.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the modernization strategy remains cutting-edge.
Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and best practices.
Technical Skills :
6-10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on application modernization.
Proficiency in modern languages such as React / React Ag Grid, Redux along with typescript.
ASP.NET Core (v8.0) along with EF Core Code First, MSSQL
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, including serverless computing and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Expertise AWS technologies including Lambda, Cloud Watch and Secret Manager
Knowledge of microservices and Event Driven architecture and design patterns.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI / CD, automated testing.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and understand Responsive Design
Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
Desirable Skills :
Experience with legacy technologies.
Certifications in cloud platforms.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of Tailwind, Vite.
Unit Testing with Nunit and UI testing with Jest.
Knowledge of Insurance domain.
