Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead Software Engineer to lead our engineering team in developing and enhancing our travel technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of multiple technologies, strong leadership qualities, and a passion for driving innovation in the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions across our tech stack, including .NET, JAVA, Python, PHP, and MERN/MEAN Stack.
• Oversee the development and optimization of databases, primarily MongoDB and MySQL.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to deliver high-quality products on time.
• Implement DevOps practices to streamline the development and deployment process, ensuring continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP to build robust, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.
• Drive technical architecture decisions and ensure best practices are followed in code quality, security, and performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our products and processes.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance SEO strategies within our platforms.
• Utilize tools like Jira, Zoho, and Monday for project management and team collaboration.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in .NET, JAVA, Python, PHP, MERN/MEAN Stack, MongoDB, and MySQL.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and their application in software development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
• Experience in the travel tech industry is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
