Job summary
As a Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase with ENTERPRISE WORKPLACE PRODUCTS under GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY INFRASTRUCTURE, you exhibit both depth and breadth of knowledge regarding software, applications, and technical processes across multiple technical disciplines. You also have a specialization in a specific domain within software and infrastructure engineering to drive programs or initiatives consisting of multiple technologies and applications.
Job responsibilities
Applies deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies focused on analyzing complex data and systems, anticipating issues, and finding ways to mitigate risk
Works with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processes
Responsible for software engineering in accordance with business requirements
Drives thought leadership within the product line
Executes work according to compliance standards, risk and security, and business objectives
Advises junior engineers and technologists
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Knowledge of areas of software engineering such as architecture, design, databases, deployment practices, integration, automation, quality, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments
Adept in software engineering best practices with Full stack Java
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience
Deep technical knowledge across multiple domains
Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Excellent communication
Exposure to making presentations and getting the buy-in from leadership on new and innovative ideas from software engineering and technology stand point
