Job description
Synopsis:
We are actively seeking a dynamic Senior Legal executive having 3 to 5 relevant experience
in contract drafting, reviews, and negotiations, ensuring strict compliance, Court case filing
Civil and Criminal filing and prosecution of Trademark & Copyright Registration in India &
Overseas. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the documentation process,
adeptness in legal research, and effective coordination with stakeholders. Strong experience
in legal compliance is essential, coupled with exceptional communication skills and a
proactive approach.
Litigation Management:
Handle litigation of the Company including 138 cases, Summary Suits, criminal
matters, Labour matter and other civil litigations.
Responsible for drafting and sending legal notices on behalf of the company,
ensuring they are accurate, timely, and compliant with all relevant legal
requirements related to recovery, dishonour of cheques, distributors, employees, or
other parties.
Draft and vet Suits, Plaints, written Statements, Affidavits, Respond to Legal notices.
Identify external counsel and Liaison with them on new existing legal matters.
Address concerns from employees, customers, or vendors regarding
documentation/processes.
Intellectual Property Rights management & Legal Metrology:
Practical Exposure in IPR (Trademarks & Copyrights)
Effective coordination with IP Attorneys and handling registration/renewal of IPR
with Indian & Foreign Registration Authorities.
To initiate/defend legal action for protection of IPRs.
Conducting and maintain Brand protection PAN India through surveillance in online
and offline Market.
Ensure compliance with Indian Legal Metrology Laws for manufacturing companies.
Maintaining Database of Legal Metrology Notices/Reply.
Contract Management:
Drafting, negotiation, finalization of all types of contracts in the relevant Distribution,
vendor and all other relevant department agreement and providing end-to-end legal
support.
Maintain records of executed documents/agreements and oversee their
Agreements/renewals.
Draft legal correspondence, gather information, and respond to legal issues related
to vendors, customers, and employees.
Conduct legal research on key projects or topics undertaken by the
department/company.
Coordinate with external stakeholders on various matters and maintain tracking for
them.
Support the team during internal and external audits.
Skills in the spotlight:
Having expertise in legal matters, including contract drafting and legal research.
Attention to detail, communication skills, negotiation skills, and interpersonal skills
are also key attributes that are necessary for success in this field.
Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of contract law, corporate law, intellectual
property law.

skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively to diverse
audiences and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to
identify legal issues, evaluate risks, and develop practical solutions to complex legal
problems.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize
tasks effectively, and adapt to changing business needs while maintaining a high
level of professionalism and integrity. Maintain the highest ethical standard and
respect Confidentiality of sensitive matters.
Willing to learn: Open to picking up new things and taking the initiative to keep
learning. Updated of any new changes or updates in the legal world. Willing to
adapt, learn more, and handle any legal challenges.
Ability to understand issues from a business perspective and balance them with legal
requirements.

Educational Qualifications: LLB degree from a recognized institution with a minimum of 3 to
5 years of relevant experience in a legal role, preferably in-house at a manufacturing
company.
