What the Job Involves:

• Review and draft contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to real estate

transactions.

• Conduct legal research and due diligence on property titles, compliances, zoning regulations, and land use issues.

• Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents with relevant authorities.

• Support the negotiation and settlement of disputes related to real estate transactions.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations within the real estate industry.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, construction, and sales, to provide legal guidance and solutions.

• Stay updated on changes in real estate laws and regulations that may impact the company's operations.

• Assist in maintaining legal records and documentation.

- Manage IPR portfolio of the organization
- Drafting and/or vetting of legal notices and/ or reply of legal notices received by the organization.
- Identify, assess, and manage legal risks across the company's pan-India operations

What we are looking for:

• Proven work experience of 4-5 years, preferably in a startup.

• Experience in conducting legal research and drafting legal documents.

• Capacity to work in fast paced, startup environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) or an equivalent degree.

• Master’s degree in law (LLM) is a plus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•Experience: Minimum 8 -12 years experience in Contract Management.

•Qualification: LLB

•Location- Only Delhi NCR (No Relocation preferred)

SCOPE OF WORK:-

This position will be responsible for taking care of PAN India Contract Management including

Contract Drafting Review & Negotiation, Contract Management System and advisory, keeping in

mind safeguarding the company's interests and reputation.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Contract Drafting Review & Negotiation:

✓ Ensure contract execution activities are completed as per the timeline. Negotiate contracts to minimize risks and maximize legal rights and contractual entitlements and benefits. Anticipate issues estimate risks strategically and help the relevant department.

✓Preparing a repository for existing legal contracts and documents including assistance in executions.

✓ Review of a new contract for change in Laws/compliances, if found any gaps need to be implemented immediately.

✓A new contract template is to be developed as per the Business requirements.

✓ Ensure all the Agreements/Contracts are legally correct and there are no jeopardizing facts in the document.

✓Ensure Legal verifies all the Agreements/Contracts before signatures of authorized signatory.

• Contract Management System:

✓To keep track of all contracts getting executed and ensure that the Business team is uploading them on the Contract Management tool. Agreement renewal should be on or before the End date. ✓If any agreement/Contract is not renewed - Legal to take the mail confirmation from the concerned Business team before the End date.

• Legal Knowledge Upgradation :

✓Keep abreast of legislative changes and trends in the corporate & Medico-legal industry and those that affect business. Performing extensive Due Diligence/Compliance Checks with all relevant information.

✓Ensure all due diligence and compliance searches are completed on time.

• Advisory Function:

✓To give advisory to various business teams/departments on legal issues. Assist HOD in various legal advisory work as may be assigned.

✓Assist management in interpreting situations that warrant legal involvement.
