A reputed firm based in Ahmedabad, is seeking an experienced Trademark Attorney specializing in Prosecution and Opposition. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in trademark prosecution and opposition proceedings. The candidate should be well-versed in trademark laws, regulations, and practices, with a proven track record of handling complex trademark matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage trademark prosecution and opposition cases.
Advise clients on trademark registrations and legal procedures.
Represent clients in hearings and negotiations related to trademark disputes.
Draft and file necessary legal documents.
Qualifications:
Law degree with specialization in Intellectual Property Law.
Minimum 5 years of experience in trademark law.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Providing leadership to and guiding the team on complex Contract Vetting and Litigations having legal implications. Drafting and vetting of various Contracts/Agreements to be executed with Third parties.Vetting of legal agreements and documents relating to Corporate Finance (Merchant Banking) and institutional broking business. Particularly Agreements related to IPO, FPO, QIP, Rights Issue, Buy Back, Take overs, etc. Drafting and Vetting Agreements relating to Portfolio Management Services (PMS), Research Analyst, ESOP Funding, etc. Coordinating with Internal and external teams for closure of legal agreements and assisting team on various contracts, opinions & other related issues; Litigation ManagementDeveloping strategy with both inside and outside counsel and teams in response to litigation, legal notices and regulatory proceedings to ensure no adverse impact on corporate image and brand value for Company and its management. Onboarding appropriate law firms and counsels to save cost as well as to safeguard the Company’s interests. Experience in handling legal matters relating to Civil, Criminal & Consumer forums; Briefing counsel and attending effective hearings in litigation mattersTracking of litigation matters and appraising management on the updates in timely manner.Monitoring of Legal MIS to internal teams.Liasoning/Co-ordinating with various Law Firms for obtaining opinions as and when required by internal teams.Knowledge about stamp duty related laws and computation of stamp duty.Replying to legal notices received by company either internally or externally through counsel.
