Senior Loan Officer

Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive business plans and budgets to achieve loan production goals. Oversee the development and execution of marketing strategies to attract new business and retain existing customers.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of talented loan officers, providing guidance and support to drive performance. Develop and implement training programs to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
• Risk Management: Ensure adherence to lending laws, regulations, and internal policies to mitigate risk and protect the bank's financial health. Conduct regular reviews of credit portfolios and identify areas for improvement.
• Business Development: Actively seek out new business opportunities, including identifying potential clients, building relationships, and negotiating loan terms. Collaborate with other departments to cross-sell bank products and services.
• Compliance: Ensure that all lending activities are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and address any compliance issues.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in financial institution lending, with at least 5 years in commercial lending.
• Proven track record of managing and motivating teams.
• Strong understanding of lending laws, regulations, and risk management principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
