Key Responsibilities
Bid & Proposal Management: Lead the entire bid management process from opportunity identification to submission and post-submission debriefs, especially for tenders and RFx in the USA (GSA, state governments, universities/colleges, NGOs).
Opportunity Tracking: Monitor and track all RFPs, RFIs, RFQs across multiple sectors such as associations, councils, federal/central governments, and private sectors.
Proposal Development: Develop and respond to RFx requests, tailoring proposals to meet client requirements, including authoring, reviewing, and presenting.
Commercial Insights: Assist with pricing quote requests and possess a strong understanding of different commercial models and pricing strategies.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders, including the CEO and Proposal Manager, to drive bid timelines and manage submissions, reviews, and communication.
Sales Support: Participate in pre- and post-bid activities to ensure a seamless sales support experience across different stages of the sales cycle.
Contracting and Deal Closure: Assist in the contracting process and work with clients and internal teams during deal closure stages.
Online Bidding & eTendering: Manage online bidding processes, including searching for relevant RFPs/RFQs and preparing proposal status trackers, compliance matrices, and proposal outlines.
Proposal Documentation: Maintain and update boilerplate materials for proposals, track past performance data, and ensure compliance with proposal guidelines.
Project Management: Utilize project management tools like Teamwork to oversee bid and project tasks, ensuring timely and organized delivery.
RFx Library Management: Systematize and maintain the company's RFx library, ensuring all bid-related documents are accessible and up to date.
Qualifications
• 5+ Years of experience in Federal Government sector environment with program and project management experience
• 5+ years of relevant Business Development experience leading the capture lifecycle with a demonstrated track record of executing proposals exceeding $5 Million
• Strong track record of managing the entire RFx process for sectors like non-profits, government, and education.
• Proficiency in online bidding platforms, project management tools, and proposal development software.
• Ability to travel as necessary to meeting job commitments
• Must have understanding of the FAR processes and experience with multiple agencies within the federal government
• BA or BS from an accredited college or university
