We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Level Designer to join our award-winning team. This exciting opportunity involves working on a AAA IP, creating and owning major immersive environments within the Level Design Team from start to finish. You will collaborate with a talented team of designers on a AAA project.
Requirements
At least two published console titles experience as a Senior Level Designer.
A strong grasp of level flow, metrics, and pacing.
A keen visual eye for scene setting, sight lines, vistas, and areas of interest.
Experience working with Unreal Engine 4 or 5, as well as Blueprinting.
Proficiency in greyboxing levels to a professional standard.
Experience scripting gameplay content in levels, such as events, interactions, and encounters.
Expertise in enemy placement and spawn points.
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with a creative team.
Level design experience for third-person action games is an advantage.
Mentoring junior Level Designers.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain documentation for owned environments.
Create large, immersive levels that deliver memorable gameplay experiences.
Adhere to project vision, best practices, methodologies, and quality benchmarks.
Provide constructive critique and solutions during level reviews.
Regularly play the game and offer suggestions and feedback.
Understand and implement narrative and gameplay ambitions for levels.
Self-motivation and teamwork.
