Experience: 8+ years
Mandatory Skills :- Apache, Nginx, Zimbra, Mail Server, MYSQL/MariaDB, bash/ shell scripting
As a Linux Administrator, you will help design, configure, implement and maintain the Server Hub network & physical servers.
This position interfaces directly with our data center staff and development teams to ensure our platform and features have scalable architectures that will provide a stable infrastructure to our customer.
• Individuals will have to work on Linux Administration and will be involved in demonstrating Linux system administration.
• Responsible for managing both Linux Servers as well as Linux based end point devices by providing technical support and delivering assigned projects in a timely manner.
• Confirm and troubleshoot systems and service alerts proactively monitor systems and services to detect service issues.
• Coordinate maintenance communications.
• Develop and implement instrumentation for monitoring the health and availability of services including fault detection, alerting, triage, and recovery (automated and manual).
• Support all aspects of project life cycle through ITIL based Configuration, Change, Service, Incident and Problem management.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Deep experience Linux/Unix (e.g. Centos, RHEL, Ubuntu) systems.
• Strong Experience troubleshooting issues with basic environment services and protocols: TCP, HTTP, DNS, NTP, LDAP, crond, etc.
• Proficient with Jboss configuration, Setup,cURL, SSH, yum, ip and other Linux tools.
• Understanding of ITIL terminology like incident and problem.
• Understanding of tomcat and apache.
• Scripting for automation.
• Understanding Databases like Oracle and SQL Database.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication. Strong problem solving and reporting
