General Summary
Under supervision and following established policies and department procedures, assist in the preparation and analysis of loan requests and renewals, assist the supervisor/manager with loan processing, monitoring, and continuous services of the assigned loan portfolio, facilitate customer and internal bank inquires, and provide administrative assistance to the department within the duties described below.
Essential Functions
• Assist the supervisor in daily loan activities, included but not limited to loan processing, monitoring, and servicing of the assigned portfolio.
• Have some exposure to underwriting process; facilitate/support Portfolio Manager/Relationship Manager in managing loan portfolios.
• Attain the proper knowledge and guidelines to perform financial spreads for businesses and individuals; use basic analytical skills to review financial statements.
• Communicate and answer questions with branch personnel and customers as needed.
• Independently process loan closing, funding, and post funding assignments.
Qualifications
• Education: College degree in accounting or business preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in loan administration preferably in commercial lending and real estate loans.
• Skills/Ability:
• PC literate, proficiency with MS Office
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Able to multi-tasks with strong organization skills and ability to prioritize work
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) or Spanish is a plus
Other Details
$20.00 – $25.00 / hour
Pay determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
