At The Bank Forte, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Loan Portfolio Manager to join our team in Guwahati. As a key member of our lending operations, you will be responsible for underwriting loan applications, managing credit policies, and ensuring the quality of our loan portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and underwrite loan applications against company credit policies and risk appetite.
• Optimize the use of our Loan Origination System (LOS) and Loan Management System (LMS) to streamline the credit process and enhance efficiency.
• Maintain and improve credit turnaround time to ensure timely loan approvals.
• Manage credit underwriting processes in strict adherence to company policies and guidelines.
• Monitor delinquency rates and Non-Performing Assets (NPA) to maintain optimal levels.
• Ensure credit costs are managed within approved limits.
• Provide feedback to the Credit Policy team based on underwriting experience to improve credit policies and procedures.
• Perform data analysis and publish relevant reports to support decision-making.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in credit underwriting.
• Positive, pro-business attitude.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• In-depth product knowledge.
• Ability to understand asset types and their viability.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding legal and technical reports and valuations related to financed properties.
Education Qualification:
Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) – full-time only
