We are a large manufacturer in Downtown San Diego, seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Logistics Analyst to join our Accounting + Finance team.
The ideal candidate will be a data-driven individual with a knack for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets. You will be responsible for providing strategic insights to enhance our logistics efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
This role requires a deep understanding of raw data analysis, Excel, Power BI, and SQL. The position demands at least 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret complex logistics data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvements.
Utilize Excel, Power BI, and SQL to manipulate and analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
Develop and implement logistics analysis and reporting tools to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of logistics data.
Provide consulting support to internal stakeholders on logistics-related matters.
Lead the design and implementation of logistics models and simulations.
Monitor, analyze, and report on key logistics performance indicators.
Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Develop and deliver presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
