Job Title: Mainframe Platform Engineer
Location: Hyderabad / Pune
Experience: 7–+ years (C1/C2 Grade)
Skills & Experience:
• Advanced knowledge in CICS and z/OS Mainframe platforms.
• Experience with MQ, Endevor Administration, and z/OS Connect API.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and automating the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with Mainframe utilities like DFDSS, SORT, File Manager, DFSMS, DFHSM.
• Strong scripting skills in TSO, JCL, REXX, ISPF, and CLIST.
• Familiarity with VSAM concepts and Access Method services.
• Experience with Workload Scheduling (CA-7, CA-11, CA-OPSMVS) and Problem Management (IBM Debug Tool, Fault Analyser).
• Knowledge of CICS Tailoring, CEDA resource definition, and Omegamon for CICS.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and automate processes to simplify development and release activities.
• Provide technical expertise in CICS and z/OS Mainframe systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance Mainframe environments.
• Troubleshoot incidents and provide technical insights for problem resolution.
• Continuously monitor live services to identify and implement improvements.
• Ensure adherence to governance processes and compliance standards.
• Engage with stakeholders to manage and deliver change requirements.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge across the team.
