Senior Maintenance Technician

Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm

Pay: $34.00/hour

Position Overview

In this role, you will ensure that all facilities and equipment are maintained safely and reliably. You will handle routine preventative maintenance and major repairs while documenting all work to support effective outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform unassisted routine preventative maintenance and major repairs on various electrical and mechanical equipment for the logistics center.

• Maintain all equipment and inventory of company tools.

• Participate in on-the-job training for maintenance team members.

• Act as Maintenance Manager in their absence.

• Design and develop operational solutions for conveyor controls and related production equipment.

• Ensure high-quality appearance of the facility and grounds.

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance assignments via our computerized management system.

• Conduct minor welding tasks and adhere to safety practices.

• Diagnose and resolve conveyor system malfunctions.

• Oversee work assignments and follow up on their progress.

• Troubleshoot and install electrical circuitry and complex control components.

• Recommend purchases for critical supplies and parts.

• Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts and related equipment.

• Repair and install Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and perform thermal imaging analysis.

• Complete other duties as assigned while maintaining attendance and punctuality standards.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in maintenance.

• Technical background, ideally in the Electrician field.

• High School Graduate or equivalent experience.

• Certifications in Mechanics, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics preferred.

• Ability to troubleshoot and manage various electrical systems.

• Experience with PLC programming and knowledge of VFDs.

• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Understanding of computerized maintenance management software (CMMS).
