To support Technology to deliver Safe, Sound and Secure outcomes for our customers and the community. CCO provides enablement support through risk management frameworks and tools, risk expertise and coaching, a greater preventative focus rather than detective, risk processes that are simple and easy to apply. This role is within the Risk and Control Enablement Team of Technology Chief Controls Office (CCO) that works closely with business units within the Chief Technology Office (CTO), the primary stakeholders being Global Technology Services (GTS), Engineering Practice, and the Enterprise Architecture, to strengthen and drive effective Technology risk management, and assist with uplifting controls and risk culture.
In this role you'll initially focus on Application Programming Interface (API), Cloud, and System Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and help drive risk capability uplift, specialist technology control knowledge, and embed a strong and proactive risk culture. You will act as a trusted risk and controls advisor to executive management within the CTO team providing thought leadership on control development, and supporting leaders with developing appropriate risk and control strategies, for these key technology processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Engage with a broad spectrum of stakeholders across the Group including delivery teams, security and cyber teams, engineers, architects, specialists, business owners and other risk specialists
• Perform technology and control risk assessments.
• Identify key risks, issues, controls and incidents, and advise on remediation.
• Provide specialist advice on technology compliance, controls and other internal policies.
• Inform and influence senior stakeholders to achieve better risk outcomes.
• Supporting the stakeholders to build effective IT controls, through thought leadership, industry knowledge and technical capability
• Responsible for the design and implementation of controls to enable better risk and compliance outcomes.
• Provide support to Executive Manager – Tech CCO India for team management and governance activities
• Identify process improvement/enhancement opportunities and lead its implementation
• Retain, Recruit, Engage, Train and Manage respective Technology Chief Controls Office team in India.
• Work effectively with Line 2 colleagues to determine optimal course of action to remediate any significant data integrity issues within the BU.
• Contribute to a proactive risk and control culture and collaborate with the business.
• Complete various group risk projects/ initiatives/ programs.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
• Role may entail providing local line management for 3-4 people. Functionally, this would be individual contributor role.
• Manage the performance cycle of the Reports and be a career counsellor.
• Coaches and nurture the team members to grow them technically as well as in team management.
• Sufficient experience or specialized knowledge to allow application/modification of existing methods and systems on own initiative in line with business context.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience
• Technical expertise in API development, Cloud and Agile / Dev/Ops and/or;
• Strong experience (10+ years) in technology risk, cyber security risk and Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs)
• Background in technology, leading technology or security teams, technology regulatory and compliance, audit and assurance, cloud, and engineering will also be considered.
• Stakeholder management, analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional qualifications such as (CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, CA or CPA) is preferred.
• Tertiary qualifications in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or related subjects.
