Process Overview
GBS GMO Risk Delivery team is part of GMO Risk aligned to provide a centralized risk model, driving consistency through end-to-end horizontal risk management and oversight functions, as well as vertical risk functions. The vertical risk function provides dedicated risk expertise to support the lines of business and regions. The horizontal risk function provides a centr alized view of GMO Risk, support adhoc initiatives and centralized resiliency planning, together with the oversight and support of regulatory requirements and corporate audits impacting GMO.
Job Description
The GMO Testing Oversight team sits within the Global Markets Operations Risk function. The team aims to deliver robust and consistent oversight and support for all forms of internal and external testing of GMO processes and controls, including QA activity. The GMO QA Oversight team is being newly created and will sit within the GMO Testing Oversight team. It will be resourced by onshore and offshore teams who will provide hands on support for, and oversight of, all QA activities impacting GMO. QA includes in-house QA which is supported by the GMO Risk teams, EIT (Enterprise Independent Testing) QA which is executed by the ETU (Enterprise Testing Utility) on behalf of GMO, and QA which is carried out by the ETU on behalf of GCOR (Global Compliance and Operational Risk).
Responsibilities
The global team will be responsible for the centralized execution and oversight GMO QA activity. This will include:
• Support BAU, including the execution of in-house QA testing Manage new tests, modification of tests. Critical partner for EIT and FLU in test design, development and migration to EIT.
• Manage the end-to-end process of test results, critical liaison with FLU including:
• Monitor and accept testing results.
• Investigate and rebut unacceptable results.
• Validate failed tests and ensure satisfactory resolution of valid fails.
• Self-serve and interpret results data, create reporting and manage escalations as necessary.
• Provide overarching governance and oversight of all GMO EIT QA:
• Monitor and oversee EIT as service provider.
• Define the organizational approach for QA, including the rationale for which QA is transitioned to EIT, and which remains.
• Define the organizational approach for test design/test script standards, calculation methodologies and thresholds, change controls and test script reviews.
• Design tests, create test scripts, capture all testing documentation.
• Carry out testing of new QA tests, manage the implementation of new tests and oversee the transition of tests to EIT.
• Define the process and rationale for the proactive review and refresh of QA tests and manage all identified changes.
• QA data analysis – trending, themes etc
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication (oral / written) skills with attention to detail
• Strong coordination skills as will need to navigate across a number of GMO teams and enterprise stakeholders
• High level of attention to detail, ability to self-start and adapt to a fast-paced environment with multiple deliverables.
• Able to build/maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Knowledge of GMO processes and controls is desirable, to be able to understand and define testing requirements for key processes.
• Experience in a testing environment is preferred. Within a risk, regulatory compliance or audit function would be an advantage but not essential

• Qualifications Graduation/ Post Graduation
• Certification if any:
• Experience : 10 years of overall experience in Risk & Control and 5 Years relevant experience in the field of control testing and or equivalent demonstrated through or one of the combinations of the following work experience, certifications & Education
• Foundational skills:
