We are looking for talented people who share our purpose of inspiring confidence and empowering change for our clients, our people and our communities.
The consulting environment at KPMG is dynamic and fast-paced, offering diverse opportunities to work on challenging projects with leading organisations across various industries. As a consultant at KPMG, you will be part of a collaborative team that provides strategic insights and innovative solutions to help clients address complex business issues and drive growth. You will work with experienced professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality services and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

The Consulting team is rapidly expanding, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced consultant passionate about M&A, IT Due Diligence, and the intricacies of technology integration and separation (I&S) projects and work at a Senior Manager OR Associate Director capacity.
The opportunity:
Lead and deliver complex Technology Deals engagements, including IT Due Diligence from both buy and sell sides, plan and oversee the technology workstreams during integration and separation planning and execution.
Drive the growth and capability of the Technology Deals and I&S practice by improving existing methodologies, supporting business development, and optimising delivery processes.
Collaborate with senior leadership to refine and implement the broader Digital Consulting strategy, focusing on elevating Technology Advisory and Deals offerings.
Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering technical and professional growth within the team.
Leverage best-in-class global tools and frameworks to deliver insightful, client-centric outcomes.
Develop high-quality deliverables, including reports and client presentations, that provide actionable recommendations tailored to clients’ strategic objectives.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and scope, ensuring consistently high standards and timely delivery across multiple concurrent engagements.
Day to day you will:
Lead teams to deliver one or more of our core service offerings.
Work closely with senior leaders to support the development of the Technology Deals practice – including capability build, business development and delivery optimisation.
Be an active and engaged member of the Technology Advisory team – building relationships within Digital Consulting, Deals Advisory and across KPMG.
Provide guidance and support to more junior team members – both technical and non-technical.
Apply your existing technical skills and experience to new challenges and experiences.
Leverage global tools, frameworks and resources to deliver customer outcomes.
Take a hands-on approach to developing project artefacts, running workshops or conducting interviews.
Write reports and prepare client presentations of a high quality, providing insights with a customer focus.
Manage delivery of technology projects/implementations, working with a mixture of onshore and offshore resources using both waterfall and Agile methodologies to support transaction outcomes and timelines.
Manage delivery of project budget, scope and timing.
Build the reputation of KPMG through the quality of your work, expertise and judgement as well as innovative approaches.
Be comfortable working at pace with a high attention to detail across multiple projects at once.
What you’ll bring to the team:
Extensive experience in Technology Deals and Integration & Separation within a consulting environment—ideally at a Senior Manager or Associate Director level—at a Big Four or similar firm.
Proven track record in leading IT Due Diligence engagements and managing the technology aspects of M&A deals, including post-deal integration and carve-out strategies.
Supporting experience and capability in other technology consulting areas (e.g.developing and implementing digital and IT strategy and operating models, technology sourcing, project delivery) a plus..
Strong background in delivery management, with hands-on experience running workshops, facilitating interviews, and managing cross-disciplinary teams.
A tertiary qualification in technology or business, plus relevant certifications (such as TOGAF or ITIL) are advantageous, but secondary to robust relevant experience.
Excellent communication skills, demonstrated through the creation of compelling client deliverables and presentations.
A proactive, adaptable approach and a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement in the consulting space.
