Job Description
The Banking Alliances role is a critical, high-visibility role responsible for revenue and growth of the business through new user acquisitions. The Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and leading all sales efforts. A keen focus will be on retaining existing accounts as well as driving net new MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue) and annual revenue (ARR) for the organization.
As we build an integrated payment-linked loyalty and rewards system that helps both Banks and Merchants to maximize their share of spends, the Banking Alliance team will play a central role in helping us become banks’ trusted partners to own and drive all customer engagement initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Own and meet/exceed annual sales targets within assigned regions and accounts
• Attract relevant enterprise customers on board, nurture them and work with account management teams to convert them to consistent key accounts
• Close sales deals with CXO level stakeholders. Should be able to work on complex deals with multiple stakeholders involved
• Lead the Business planning activities for the Unit and be responsible for defining the target market, product pricing, portfolio action etc. to create differentiation in the market.
• Strategize entry across industrial segments and enabling technology led procurement
• Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
• Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations, product demos
• Identify new opportunities - Development of newer & long term solutions by evaluating pains in the Banking/ Payment Industry.
• Cross-functional collaboration: collaborate with marketing, customer success, and sales departments to identify areas for growth.
• Enabling Strategic Account Growth Trajectory, Revenue Expansion, Relationship Expansion, Social Selling, Digital Sales Transformation with Live Enterprise Platforms
• Drive revenue and cost management by means of financial planning and monthly budgeting.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across functions (Engineering, IT, Product, CX, etc)
Mandatory Qualifications:
• 8-12 Years of overall experience of which 4-6 years in the Financial Services space either with Banks, Payment Networks Payment Aggregators, or Fintech companies would be given high preference.
• Established and existing networks with banks both public as well as private sector would be a definite advantage.
• Complex solution selling (i.e., experience selling or delivering software or services that required the end client to realign certain business processes).
• Demonstrated success with sales campaigns in a fast paced, consultative, and competitive market.
• Business acumen and Customer orientation: Should be a passionate believer in digital transformation and the use of technology to simplify business processes and improve customer experience.
• High energy team player with willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish
• Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers, MIS.
• Able to engage in technical conversation with the bank to understand their requirements
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid, and collaborative environment
