Fantastic opportunity to join the cash and transactional banking risk team
How will I help?
As a Senior Manager you will play a crucial role in line 1 risk squad for the Cash & Transactional Bank (C&TB) line of business’s (LOB) technology simplification & transformation program. Your focus will be on managing risks through appropriate controls and ensuring alignment with both LOB, divisional and group risk appetites.
You will provide first line-of-defence review and endorsement on project artefacts, ensuring they meet the Transformation Delivery Standard for all initiatives. Furthermore, you will oversee risk in change outcomes, simplify the risk and control matrix process, optimise project resources, and ensure critical decisions and sign-off points are managed effectively. You will report on Risk in Change Governance to both C&TB and Divisional Governance Forums, providing insights and read-across of LOB initiatives for thematic consistency. Additionally, you will oversee the transition from project to business-as-usual, ensuring that risks and controls are properly embedded and handed over to the appropriate business units.
Other additional responsibilities include:
Work with and participate in divisional governance forums providing insight and key call outs
Actively lead project risk working groups and meetings, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement
Ensure the impact of the change is understood, and that ownership and acknowledgement of the delivered risks and new/modified controls are adhered to
Ensure sustainability of the change, and ongoing ownership accountabilities are agreed with the business owner
Manage the scope of the change and impacted processes, and report to the business for development requirements
