Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager-Cloud Solution Architect
In this role, you will have proven experience assessing client’s workloads and technology landscape for Cloud suitability, develop business case and Cloud adoption roadmap. Knowledge of best practices and market trends pertaining to Cloud and overall industry to provide thought leadership (seminars, whitepapers etc.,) is required. Should have strong understanding of the cloud services landscape and should be able to define and design solutions independently based on the driving factors such as cost, functional and non- functional requirements. Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation.
Responsibilities
Relevant years of experience in providing Cloud design and architecture for solutions in alignment with well architected framework on AWS
Understanding business objectives and developing models that help to achieve them, along with metrics to track their progress
Expertise on providing architecture solutions to large scale Data Analytics / microservices / containerized applications by leveraging a combination of IaaS, Managed Services and Serverless technologies on AWS Cloud
Design and deploy dynamically scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications on AWS
Select appropriate AWS services to design and deploy an application based on given requirements
Migrate complex, multi-tier applications on AWS
Ability to evaluate cloud application requirements and make architectural recommendations for implementation, deployment, and provisioning applications on AWS
Familiarity with AWS CLI, AWS APIs, AWS CloudFormation templates, the AWS Billing Console, and the AWS Management Console
Explain and apply the five pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework
Design a hybrid architecture using key AWS technologies (e.g., VPN, AWS Direct Connect)
Ability to provide best practice guidance on the architectural design across multiple applications and projects of the enterprise
Familiarity with a scripting language
Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments
Map business objectives to application/architecture requirements
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in IT or a related quantitative field
AWS Cloud Certification
Preferred qualifications
AWS Solution Architect Professional Cloud Certification
Proficiency with Python and basic libraries for machine learning such as scikit-learn and pandas
Familiarity with Linux
