WHAT WE’LL NEED

We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Corporate Accounting (Franchise) to become an important part of our team as you manage the day-to-day activities of the accounting team. You will have the ability to problem solve and think analytically while ensuring work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

In this role, you get to show off your written and verbal communication skills as you build collaborative relationships throughout the organization and help drive the success of our Accounting team.

Drive accounting processes related to royalty calculations and collection, international billing, and revenue recognition.

Build relationships and trust with our brand partners to help support them in their long-term growth.

Manage the period-end close activities including account reconciliations and journal entries.

Review period-end results and work closely with the Finance department to evaluate variances, while assisting with accurate forecasting.

Partner with internal and external audit to ensure compliance with internal control processes.

Identify and introduce new ideas and solutions to create efficiencies and streamline processes.

Contribute to the on-going financial transformation project related to the Company’s ERP and other systems.

Develop and manage direct reports including performing evaluations, goal setting, and motivating on a daily basis.

Prepare technical accounting memos, as needed, to support conclusions reached on significant accounting transactions and issues.

Drive special projects, as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Technical accounting knowledge

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to multi-task and good problem-solving capabilities

Collaboration skills

Experience with management or leading a team

CPA required
