Role Responsibilities
The BI SRE Senior Manager will be responsible for Tools SRE on-premises & on-cloud with good technical knowledge on big data and Tools. Good exposure in problem solving & stakeholder management skills. This role will report into the Head of BI Tools, AI/ML Engineering.

Other Responsibilities
• Strong Technical server administration & performance tuning skills in Microsoft Power BI & other BI Tools like MicroStrategy, Tableau etc.
• Good exposure to migration from MSTR & Tableau to Microsoft Power BI.
• Good knowledge on features / capabilities in Power BI, MSTR, Tableau.
• Serve as a technical SRE for BI Reporting Tools. Work with Tools Technical support to resolve issues requiring vendor assistance.
• Govern the BI environment and continuously optimize the environment via governing settings, security settings, and other mechanisms.
• Tools SRE stabilization from FTE, automation, tool usability perspective.
• Upgrade of tools to latest version for maximum business impact - SRE Support, Zero Downtime, at least 1 ADAR initiative per quarter in each tool.
• Tools on cloud - SRE Support, Zero Downtime, at least 1 ADAR initiative per quarter in each tool.
• Power BI adoption at pace for business - SRE Support, Zero Downtime, at least 1 ADAR initiative per quarter in each tool.
• FTE Rationalization through Automation, SRE Savings on Tools - SRE Support, Zero Downtime, at least 1 ADAR initiative per quarter in each tool.
• Rationalization tools Recovery and chargeability model - SRE Support, Zero Downtime, at least 1 ADAR initiative per quarter in each tool.
• AI/ML - SRE Setup & Support, Zero Downtime, at least 1 ADAR initiative per quarter in each tool.
• Build Tools Stabilisation, monitoring across all components & Resilience, Zero Downtime, zero manual activities, Chat Bot implementation to reduce L1/L2 by at least 50%.
• Tools Usability Tracking & Reporting.
• Merge SRE support for Tools across clusters.
