What will you do?
1. Budgeting & Forecasting
Lead annual budget planning; align with enterprise cost optimization targets.
Build and maintain rolling 18–24 month forecasts, integrating both operational and project-based drivers.
Monitor and communicate financial risk exposures, variance drivers, and corrective actions.
2. Workforce Financial Oversight
Track and reconcile FTE and contractor headcount across functions and geographies.
Maintain and refine capacity models to support strategic workforce planning.
3. Financial Reporting & Insights
Produce monthly and quarterly financial packages for senior leadership.
Generate executive-ready dashboards and commentary (variance, run-rate, YOY/MTD analysis).
Translate financial data into operational recommendations with business impact.
4. Governance & Controls
Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory reporting standards, and cost allocation rules.
Collaborate with Vendor Management on accruals, invoice validation, and contract alignment.
Identify and automate high-effort manual processes to improve accuracy and cycle time.
5. Partnership & Influence
Act as strategic advisor to technology and product leaders on financial matters.
Drive transparency and accountability by embedding financial rigor into planning cycles.
Support the business case development and ROI evaluation for large-scale tech investments.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
3+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or Business Management in a large enterprise.
Proven track record owning budgets >$50M across technology or operations portfolios.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint required; proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools expected.
Strong understanding of workforce costing, including contractors and cloud-based spend.
Experience partnering cross-functionally with HR, vendor management, and engineering teams.
Excellent executive communication skills—both written and verbal.
Nice to have
CPA, CFA, or MBA considered an asset.
Familiarity with financial processes in agile or DevOps settings.
Exposure to enterprise tooling (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday, Anaplan).
Experience in cost modeling or capitalized software reporting.
