How will I help?

This position exists to ensure the effective oversight of financial crime risk by contributing to the development and execution of monitoring and oversight processes. This role is integral in supporting Westpac’s Financial Crime risk management framework, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and standards across our Business & Wealth Pacific business, based out of Papua New Guinea and Fiji.

As a Senior Manager, Finance Crime you will sit within our Second Line of Defence, within Group Risk, ultimately reporting to the Head of Financial Crime Westpac Institutional Bank, Treasury, Business & Wealth (including BT & Pacific). The team is responsible for ensuring financial crime risk remains consistent with risk appetite, fostering a strong risk culture and ensuring adherence to the Westpac Group standards
