Front end the coordination and support for key strategy projects with the relevant owners. Analyse business performance (management and financial), review highlight risks and opportunities and drive actions to ensure committed financial outcome. Carry out structured analytical exercises – Extract relevant data from Group financial systems by working with GSF team, or extracting from public sources and databases, execute analysis, and perform sanity checks. Derive insight and create written output – Translates analysis into insight by deriving implications, and construct written output (power point slides, word document) to communicate insights suitable for consumption by middle – senior level managers within the Group. Ensure impact on business performance outcomes is managed due to change in upstream or downstream processes and systems. Contribute to any ad-hoc projects, including providing support to targeted initiatives as well as simplification of bank processes. Financial Controls Ensure robust controls on financial data and processes, such that they are presented in a timely and accurate manner. Experienced in corporate banking products, booking models, accounting treatments. Sound understanding of international accounting standards requirements, business analysis techniques, risk management methodologies, project management techniques. A high degree of integrity and ability to challenge the views and actions of others in a constructive manner. Ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask, lead through ambiguities, influence where candidate does not have direct authority & build on unstructured formative situations. Able to create written output and summaries (power point / word) suitable for consumption by mid – senior level management of the bank. A leader, a team player with the management ability and track record to secure the confidence and respect of the peers, stakeholders, and the executive management team. Strong Analytical and Strategic mindset, coupled with a thorough understanding of business performance management outcomes. Should have worked in banking or in banking services within a top consulting organisation in an FP&A capacity
