Position Overview Gotcha Covered, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced, energetic and talented Window Fashion Design and Sales Consultant.We are looking for an individual that has proven sales success in the retail or home furnishings industry coupled with a strong sense of style, home décor and a passion for design. We are seeking an individual who can combine creative capabilities with sales talent to provide window fashion decorating solutions to clients. The ideal candidate would have an entrepreneurial attitude and approach to selling with strong communication, organizational and influence skills. Demonstrated passion for in-home design consulting including the ability to communicate with clients to assess what they want and need, and then present ideas and design solutions in a compelling way. A broad knowledge of current home décor and style along with effective sales techniques is required.
Design Abilities
Artistic and creative abilities in the area of home décor
Measuring skills relating to window coverings
Working knowledge of custom furnishings including window treatments
Knowledge of design principles
Ability to visualize a finished project and convey the outcome to the client
Ability to provide exceptional design services within a client's defined budget
Sales Technique and Experience
Must be self-motivated, and goal oriented with a drive for success
Must possess strong sales skills including understanding and managing the sales process, from prospecting to closing and after-sale follow-up
Must possess a strong desire to excel in a competitive environment and enjoy being challenged to succeed
Must demonstrate a passion for in-home sales and understanding of the concepts of selling for premium products within a fast-paced yet professional environment
Ability to represent our unique retail ANET partner expectations, and their exclusive product offerings. ANET include: Leaders in new home construction, real estate, home improvement and high-end retailing
Proven ability to build a strong client base to generate additional leads resulting in increased company sales and profit
Desire to build your own business while affiliating with Gotcha Covered, in a positive way in all environments, developing new client leads and building business opportunities
Client Service and Relationship Management
Willing to challenge any obstacles to provide outstanding service to clients
Committed to a business philosophy that provides only custom products and ensures a superior client experience with exceptional quality
Exemplifies professional standards in appearance, communication and delivery from the first impression
Collaborates with others to manage client relationships and results
Leaves positive and lasting impressions with continued follow up after the installation is complete
Possesses strong organizational skills to complete client orders, following up on leads, and scheduling
Responsible for interpreting all order contracts and accurately completing all documentation required to place a client order
Responsible for maintaining open lines of communication to create a positive working relationship with your Installers to ensure complete client satisfaction
Must possess basic computing skills including Word, Email usage and Internet searching techniques
Compensation and Working Conditions
Commissions and special promotional incentives based on achieved sales goal
Independent contractor status to enhance your own business and exercise your own proven sales and design expertise
Travel between client homes, partner retailer locations and home office
We provide on-boarding, webinars, support from our vendors – Hunter Douglas, Graber, Comfortex, DSC, and various window fashion vendors
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $35,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
