Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible of Group Supply Chain Activities / Lead the procurement group in all phases.
Excellent Knowledge of Supply Chain Process and its optimization.
Able to formulate and manage long term && short term Supply Chain Strategy Implement procurement strategy and
policies.
Supplier Selection && Evaluation Skills, Contract Negotiations Skills, Project management && Problem-solving skills.
Good Knowledge of Relevant Software's and ERP Process and SAP Handling inventory management && controls.
Should be able to communicate effectively with Operations, Finance and Other Key Functional Departments.
Forecast procurement needs, Continually develop expertise to support growth for new projects
Monitor macro trends in supplier and contract base and implement plans to react.
Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials, parts, supplies and equipment's in a timely and cost
effective way; timely manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.
Prepare purchase requisitions, approve and issues purchase orders in accordance with company policy and
negotiated terms and conditions.
Assist department in developing and implementing purchasing strategies for products.
Desired Candidate Profile
BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/MBA - Materials && Supply Chain Management.
Experience :
• 15 to 20 Years Experience in Supply Chain activities preferable in Fabrication/
Sheet Metal Part manufacturing Company.
