Senior Manager - Land Legal Wind

PQE in property/land management in Renewable energy sector.
• Smart and versatile in matters relating to land.
• Conversant with land registry practices in renewable energy sector.

• Good understanding of land laws and legal documentation

Key Responsibilities:
• Shall be responsible for Title investigation and search
• Prompt perfection of titles, delivery vacant possession and ensuring the company occupy the assets/properties accordingly.
• Secure all lands and properties and also make appropriate recommendations.
• Monitor legal risk in land acquisition and advise accordingly.
• Shall be registering all legal instruments and documents at the appropriate lands registries.
• Ensure that appropriate approvals for land acquisition are in place.
• Checking / vetting of the legal documents, site matter, meetings with external / panel of advocates and vetting of documents / supporting with backup documents etc.
• Scrutiny and verification of all land related documents, preparation of feasibility reports, preliminary assessment.
• Land acquisition (Private) vide sale deed, lease deed, sub lease deed execution, ROW for EHV Line, verification and determination of land parcels, possession & of the land, land statutory approvals and support function thereafter to project.
• Thorough knowledge of processes of revenue and other Government authorities for necessary approvals required for land acquisition.
• Thorough knowledge of obtaining NA Permission / Mutation entries / Village NOC or any other such liaison work related to land acquisition.
• Proper upkeep of land records, Sale Deeds, Agreement to Sale, Power of Attorney, Lease deeds etc.
• Thorough knowledge of liaison with various departments including police, revenue, legal etc.
• Drafting & Standardization of lease deed / sale deed / Agreement to sale and Power of attorney, ROW / MOU and various legal documents etc., in relation to RE projects.
• Coordinate with external advocates for various legal issues.
• Shall perform any other role or task that may be assigned by the reporting manager, HOD.
• Ensure Legal due diligence which will result in zero litigation.
• Liaise with relevant department to ensure that identified legal risks are mitigated and appropriate course of action have been taken.
• taking necessary actions/steps and measures for maintaining cordial relationship with farmers, Government authorities and mobilizing public support.
• Handling litigation from initiation to finality.
• Provide legal support at HO and internal departments.
• Provide support for resolving ROW/pathway issues within time frame.

Undertake and complete all tasks and measures as may be required in the best interest of the Company.
